Earlier this month, I attended the Shoppe Object show for the first time since 2020. The show has grown significantly, and it was great to be back and see so many beautiful new products, as well as many familiar faces.

My favorite pieces, shown below, include hand-embroidered and naturally dyed quilts, a gorgeous knotted rug in deep red tones, and unique glassware. Each of these pieces has a nod to nostalgia and vintage in its own unique way. This feels so appealing since it brings a sense of comfort and familiarity to the customer.

I was happy to see so many handmade, artisanal brands, particularly at the Powered by People and ByHand booths. Throughout the show, there was a much larger focus on sustainability than there had been in the past, which is encouraging.

I'll be returning for the August show, where I'll be curating products for clients and collaborating with a client on their collection and booth design. If you're in need of product sourcing, market reports, or assistance in preparing for Shoppe Object, please don't hesitate to reach out.
